I had to realize a dynamic responsive website about a fictional musical festival, in five slides with, at least, a news section and a contact form that works in PHP. I also had to create the logo of the event with its graphical chart.
First of all, I had to choose what kind of festival I would create, as I had recently discovered "Synthwave" I decided to explore this universe for this project.
So I began elaborating a logo for this event, not on Adobe Illustrator® this time, but on Adobe Photoshop® because I wanted to put a lot of effects on this logo: outer glow, chrome effect, etc.
Then, I have worked on the model of the website, I wanted it to be as simple as possible : a welcome slide, a slide with the global information, a slide with the bands and the two others. One part to ease the responsive and also to not overcharge the information.
For the front-end part, I had to use the Bootstrap framework and the "@media" from the CSS to simplify the responsive part of the website, which has to be adapt on: PC, tablet and smartphone. I have also used CSS (events and keyframes), jQuery, "inview.js" and "smooth-scroll.js" to make all the animations. In the end, I was looking for an animated grid, but I gave up and create myself one on Adobe After Effects®.
And I have obviously involved PHP for the back-end. I have elaborated an administration where I could manage: the global information (update the info), the bands (add or delete one), the news (create or delete one) and consult the messages sent by the contact form in the front-end.
